Update : March 2026

It has been some considerable time since the last major update, but here it is!

A lot of work has been carried out in the background with many updates to existing pages - including each and every route map (and there's a lot of those!).

The map pages have had a bit of a cosmetic redesign, particularly with the service area icons. This will make some of the information a bit clearer and easier to read as it has allowed me to increase the text sizing too.

You'll have noticed there is a bit of a cosmetic change to the pages throughout the site, with the background re-toned to make it less harsh on the eyes.

There is a new section that covers France in general - this gives information on non-driving aspects of life, such as shopping and eating out. And I've added some basic facts and figures in there as well! The Public Transport section has been moved here, so don't panic that it isn't on the navigation bar.

A new Features section has also been introduced. This is where I'll publish some in depth topics, usually looking at French road heritage.
